Q: Tell us more about Dabney? What's her personality? A: Dabney is strong, determined, feisty, and full of fire. She is passionate, loves Gaia, American Chinese food, and blackberry wine. Dabney is sensitive and an enigma. She is constantly evolving, elevating, and transcending through the whole book. I absolutely love her! Q: Do you want each book to stand on its own, or are you trying to build a body of work with connections between each book? A: I would say both. #DarkestBetrayals stands on its own but can be connected. #TheFateOfMagick will be part of three that will be tied heavily together and maybe a couple of books that are part of the greater whole but stand on their own! Q: What is the intended audience for your book? A: Intended audiences are adults. It has been listed as #fantasy but there is some #suspense. I also saw that #Amazon categorized it by #darkfantasy as well. I feel others outside of #fantasy readers would enjoy it too! Q: If you could tell your younger writing self anything, what would it be? A: I would tell her to pay attention in English class but to let her imagination run wild. I would let her know we have our own unique writing style, to enjoy writing for herself, and that not everyone will like what we create and that is okay it is not the end of the world.

Q: Tell us about your source of inspiration. Who or what inspires you? A: I am inspired by life and the world around me. The strength and determination people have to move forward despite their experiences, inspire, and encourage me to do the same! I love how a single seed can make its way through asphalt and blossom into a beautiful flower.
