My First Book Signing

I had my first #booksigning at #barnesandnoble on the 26th of October from 11 to 2. I was not sure what to expect. I can honestly say that the unknown factor was throwing me off.

I got to meet a couple of authors that day. They were kind men who made it a point to come and talk to me and to wish me well on my first signing.

I was surrounded by #friends and #family who came to support me. The time flew by.

Funny story: We all decided to go dressed up in #halloweencostumes. I was a witch and my two sons wore scary masks. We began to notice that people were going out of their way to avoid us. My #brother made a suggestion of taking the masks off and see if that would help things out. It didn't create more book sales but they stopped trying to avoid us.

I used my #booktrailer and #bookcover to speak for themselves.

It was a great experience. I am grateful for the opportunity that Barnes and Noble gave me that day. One of the exciting parts was seeing four of my signed books under the #horror sign as you come into the store.

I just want to send out a huge Thank you to all my #supporters and to those incredible people who have read my book.

I reflect back on that day with smiles and a pat on the back. It is an incredible feeling to know you have conquered a fear in your life.
